If you are still stuck in that embarrassing newbie stage and looking for a good World of Warcraft strategy guide… or if you are an experienced player looking to get a little bit of an “edge” over other WOW players… well, than you landed on the right website!

I’m an experienced world of warcraft player (online since the end of 2005) and I created this website to help WOW players from all ranges of experience to become better, and help them arm themselves with tips and strategies that place them a level above the rest.

In addition to helpful tips and tactics, this site also features the latest reviews of the newest and best wow strategy guides out there on the market.

For those of you that are truly new to world of warcraft, let’s give you a quick overview:

World of Warcraft is the most popular MMORPG (Massively Multi player Online Role-Playing Game) ever made. It was released by Blizzard on November 23, 2004. The game takes place in the world of Azeroth, where previous world of warcraft games took place, 4 years after the end of world of warcraft 3.

The game features 10 playable character classes to choose from. With Each individual class having its own very unique set of talents and abilities (as well as its own strengths and weaknesses), it’s wise to dedicate some good thought as to what class you choose to accompany you in you adventures in the world of Azeroth. Try avoiding getting “stuck” with the wrong one. The 10 WOW character classes are:

• Death Knight (Wrath of The Lich King expansion)

• Druid

• Hunter

• Mage

• Paladin

• Priest

• Rogue

• Shaman

• Warlock

• Warrior

Based on your chosen class, there are 3 main roles you can develop your character to fill:

1. DPS (damage per second)

2. tanking (a “tank” is a character whose primary role is to absorb damage and prevent others from being attacked)

3. support

Or, you may want to try to develop a character that combines these 3 together.

Each class has different uses. Let’s take the priest for example: the priest plays an important role in the world of warcraft strategy when it comes to groups. The priest can keep the other players alive with his healing power. But when alone… Let’s just say it’s not a lot of fun being a lonely priest trapped in the wilderness.

As any basic world of warcraft strategy guide would tell you, Choosing a profession that fits your class is important. You are allowed to choose two professions and those professions can make you money as well as save you some of the money you already earned.

1. Primary Professions, which are also separated into 2 categories:

I. Gathering: Mining, Skinning, and Herbalism

II. Crafting: Tailoring, Leatherworking, Alchemy, Enchanting, Blacksmithing, Engineering, Jewelcrafting and Inscription.

2. Secondary Professions – Cooking, Fishing and First Aid. The Rogue class also has two unique professions not available to other classes: Lock Picking and Poisons.

As mentioned, It is recommended that you choose a profession that fits your class. Hunter might find leatherworking and skinning to be useful professions for him, because he wears only leather. Blacksmithing, on the other hand, would be pointless for him, for the same reason. For a warrior though, it would be a good idea to take on blacksmithing as a profession.
